Holly Road Bathroom Renovation

At Holly Road, we renovated the bathroom by installing a spa bath, removing an alcove to open the space, and relocating the bath under the window. We updated the vanity to a wall-mounted version, added new LED lighting, and installed a slimline heated towel rail. The main challenge was relocating the toilet and reinforcing the floor joist.

Features of note

Completely renovate the bathroom by updating all the fixtures and fittings and changing the existing bath to a spa bath.
The original layout of the bathroom had the bath against an internal wall with a small alcove framing a dark shower. To give the room a feeling of greater space while still keeping all the key components, we removed the alcove wall.
The shower size was still compact but the two sided glass gave the impression of a larger area by opening up the room to light. This meant the bath had to be relocated under the window, which made for a perfect fit.
The vanity was updated to a slim wall mounted version that helped maximise the apparent floor space, along with a back to wall toilet.
New LED lighting was added as well as an updated extractor fan and a slimline heated towel rail between the bath and the new vanity.
The major challenge with this project was the relocation of the toilet to better reposition the bath under the window, as the waste had to go through a floor joist that needed to be reinforced.
