- Completely renovate the bathroom by updating all the fixtures and fittings and changing the existing bath to a spa bath.
- The original layout of the bathroom had the bath against an internal wall with a small alcove framing a dark shower. To give the room a feeling of greater space while still keeping all the key components, we removed the alcove wall.
- The shower size was still compact but the two sided glass gave the impression of a larger area by opening up the room to light. This meant the bath had to be relocated under the window, which made for a perfect fit.
- The vanity was updated to a slim wall mounted version that helped maximise the apparent floor space, along with a back to wall toilet.
- New LED lighting was added as well as an updated extractor fan and a slimline heated towel rail between the bath and the new vanity.
- The major challenge with this project was the relocation of the toilet to better reposition the bath under the window, as the waste had to go through a floor joist that needed to be reinforced.
