Nathan’s advice was clear, practical, and honest, which gave us real confidence in understanding the situation and the best way forward. After a bad experience somewhere else I called Butterfields and am glad I did. Nathan actually listened to what I wanted from a new shower and got the exact one I was after. Hamish was very accommodating of my quirks and helped to make me feel comfortable with a stranger in my home. He listened to me and explained everything as he went along. Our bathroom was old and definitely not in a good state. We contacted Butterfield's and from the start had a good experience. We appreciated the flexibility in planning our bathroom and their finding ways to incorporate the different features we wanted. The availability of the bathroom trailer during the renovations was a big bonus and we didn't find such an option in other businesses we originally looked at. The trades people were all great, friendlly, and very considerate. Paul was amazing and we were extremely lucky to have him as our project manager. He listened carefully to what we wanted or were concerned about, kept us fully informed of the renovation progress, and came up with solutions to any difficult to implement features we hoped to get. We very much appreciated his attention to detail and with his determination to make sure our renovation was to a high standard. We first contacted Butterfield Bathrooms when we realised our old shower was no longer fit for purpose.  From the very start, I was impressed by both Brooke and Nathan.  Ultra helpful and easy to work with.  The in-home consult with Nathan was straightforward and he made logical suggestions which we agreed with. The old shower was gone and a new one installed in three days. We decided the bathroom needed painting and a new floor and Nathan offered to help with this, along with new lighting. We now have a deliciously green bathroom which we're extremely happy with. Nathan was fantastic all through the process, knowledgeable, hard-working, funny, friendly and frequently going above and beyond to get the job done. Butterfields Bathroom Renovation's is a great company.  From the design to the build phase - it was a stress free, awesome experience.  My measure of success is not just the end result but how problems are solved along the way - and the build team was great, they worked thru the options, gave me time to think and listened to what I wanted. We had a leaky shower only 12 years old but decided to replace rather than repair.  So glad we did.  Nathan was very helpful providing us an ideal solution and Hamish carried out the instalation so expertly with no fuss. Super happy with the service from Butterfield; Nathan was excellent to deal with from start to finish. I chose Butterfield due to there being a likely leak behind the shower; Butterfield had the in-team expertise to deal with any potential wall/flooring repairs uncovered while removing the existing shower, where other companies didn't (which would have meant coordinating multiple contractors: shower tech, builder, plumber). We first connected with Butterfield Bathrooms over a year ago, hoping to renovate before our mum's health declined.  Life had other plans, but when it came time to prepare for our father's accessibility needs, we knew we had to get the bathroom done fast. My niece dealt with Joel who was happy to retrieve the specs from the original quote to give us a starting point this time round.  As a whanau we all had input, so it was important to work with people who’d listen to our needs but also be honest about what wouldn’t work. After meeting with another member of their team, our minds were set. We were given a start date and assured the build and consent process would take five weeks, with a toilet/shower trailer provided for the duration. Once construction began, it all happened pretty fast, we knew we’d made the right choice. Paul who by the way was just fantastic, handled all communication through my sister, was transparent about decisions and adjustments, and never sugar-coated what couldn’t be done—but always found a way to make things work better. (A wheelchair through a standard doorway? Not happening. But they offered smart alternatives.) Paul kept us informed about which of their team would be on site and what to expect. He was present, hands-on, and led a team who were friendly, respectful, and understanding—especially on tougher days when our dad wasn’t feeling well. They always cleaned up and were considerate of our space. Now, the bathroom is complete, and Dad absolutely loves his open, wall-free shower. Even though there’s a brand-new toilet, he still walks the extra to the one in the laundry—some habits are hard to break! We highly recommend Butterfield Bathrooms thanks to Paul and the team who are just genuinely good people to work with. Thank you all so much for your incredible work.
