Through our long experience in bathroom renovations we have been able to classify them into three broad categories, Economic, Essential and Premium. The category you'll fall into will depend on a number of factors including your budget, the amount of space you have available and the end look you are after (fittings, fixtures and finishes) etc.
Budget: $10k – 18k
These renovations are generally about refreshing the look of a bathroom and maximising its functionality. Often space is at a premium so it is about ensuring each feature and item is well thought out and suitable for the bathroom’s overall design.
Budget is often a constraining factor, and at the lower end of the range it is about refreshing a couple of key features and keeping fittings like the existing floor coverings.
Budget: $18k – 30k
The Essential Bathroom renovation is the next step along in both budget and design and there is often a vision or design concept involved.
This type of renovation will include the introduction of tiling to floors and some or all of the walls.
It will also allow for the introduction of a number of specialised items, such as standalone baths (spa baths), designer fittings and lighting or custom walk in showers.
Budget: $30k +
A Premium Bathroom renovation is often architecturally designed with specialised items and extensive tiling using imported tiles or exclusive materials such as stone and marble, along with underfloor heating.
It will include the highest quality of fixtures with options for one off custom items such as vanities, multi head/occupancy showers and, if you so desire, the inclusion of multimedia- speakers
